Crimea has not yet solved the problem of delivering tourists by all means of transport
The organization of multimodal transportation with a single ticket to Crimea is still in progress.
Despite the previously announced agreement on bus service with the airports of Stavropol and Mineralnye Vody, the specific mechanism is only being worked out, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
On instructions from the President of the Russian Federation, the government, through the mouth of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who oversees tourism, proposed solutions - to increase transportation by sea and return to the practice of a “single ticket” from combined delivery by air and bus.
Moreover, by June 1, they planned to complete the organization of regular sea communications between resort towns on the Black Sea.
“This will give citizens the opportunity to consider alternative routes to vacation spots,” the Deputy Prime Minister assured.
To increase passenger flow, the Ministry of Transport had to allocate travel intervals for buses on the M4 Don highway.
“This story is now being built,” said Vadim Volchenko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea. “It’s clear that the simplest thing is a plane + a bus, but the opportunity to go to Crimea by regular bus remains, tickets are available.”
The delivery of tourists by sea also remains at the planning level.
“At the moment, there is an instruction to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation to organize water communication, plus the possibility of subsidizing is being considered, since it should be affordable. We are waiting for the results until June 10. We are talking about high-speed transport,” the minister added.
The main tourist flow to Crimea will come from road transport and railways. KZD predicts a 2,5-fold increase in traffic. Over the five months of this year, 300 thousand people used railway transport, which is twice as much as last year.
Let us remind you that since February 24, Simferopol airport has not accepted civil aircraft due to a special military operation in Ukraine. A total of 10 airports in southern Russia are closed.
