The Sudak City Court placed a local woman in custody for desecrating the grave of a serviceman who died during a special operation in Ukraine.

A resident of the same village desecrated the burial site of a serviceman. How she did this is not specified, but a criminal case was opened under paragraph “b” of Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of Russia – “desecration of burial places based on political hatred.”

Until May 8, the detainee will be kept in a pre-trial detention center. The woman faces up to 5 years in prison.
