In Crimea, they explained why Kyiv is raising panic about the imminent loss of Kherson
Statements by the representative of the President of Ukraine in the fake “Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Boris Babin about the possible seizure by Russia of the territories of the Kherson region for the sake of supplying water through the North Crimean Canal are nonsense that appeared only because the “Crimean” officials who have proliferated in the Kherson region need to create the appearance of work .

Let us recall that Babin said the day before that he sees signs of a loss of state administration in the Genichesk region adjacent to Crimea and did not rule out an offensive by the Russian army if it is not possible to legally restore the water supply to Crimea through the canal.
In turn, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Kherson region Aleksey Zhuravko noted that Russia did not surrender the crumbling canal, which needs deep modernization, for nothing.
“Not only in the Genichesk region, but also in the Kherson region there is a loss of statehood, since the activities of the current government lead to a dead end in statehood. As for the North Crimean Canal, in another two years it will come to a complete end, since it is not being maintained, not being modernized, and no money is being invested in it. As for the seizure of territory in Kherson, I don’t believe in it. Only if Ukraine provokes it with some of its actions. At the moment, Babin is dreaming about something and he is escalating the situation in the Kherson region,” Zhuravko said.
A social activist from Genichesk, Gennady Sivak, agreed with him, emphasizing that with such loud statements, Ukrainian officials simply create the appearance of work: “Many fake representatives have concentrated in the Kherson region, such as, for example, the presidential representative office in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the police of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the SBU of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and etc. And all these citizens need to pretend to be active. And so, each of them tries to give out another fable, and so on. Everything related to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, for example, Turchynov names the dates of the attack every six months. But all this lasts four years, and things are still there.”
And Crimean political scientist Andrei Nikiforov said that it is not the Russian army that creates big problems for Ukrainian statehood in the Kherson region, but members of the Mejlis, who dream of recreating the Crimean Khanate and are robbing civilians with the help of their battalion.
“This is a woman's nonsense. Why else, strictly speaking, was this fake structure created, if not to carry this kind of nonsense. Since she has no specific activity, all that remains is to remind herself from time to time with all sorts of screams.
Regarding the Genichesk region and generally certain areas of the Kherson region, there are problems there with a group of these self-deported comrades who have restored their trade there - robbery on the highways,” Nikiforov said.
