In Crimea they offered to put up “Independence junk” for exchange
Two boats and a Ukrainian Navy tug detained by Russian border guards should be exchanged for Russian commercial ships seized by Ukraine, which are detained in Ukrainian ports.
Crimean political scientist Vladimir Dzharalla told Komsomolskaya Pravda about this.
“Nezalezhnaya’s junk – two boats with machine guns and an elderly tugboat – can be returned in exchange for fairly new, commercially successful Russian ships that are seized in Ukrainian ports,” Jarallah said.
In turn, political scientist, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea Denis Baturin believes that Kyiv should admit its guilt for the incident in the Kerch Strait.
“Ukraine must admit the illegality of its actions and the violation of the norms and rules that have existed in the Kerch Strait since Crimea became part of the Russian Federation. It was a provocation,” Baturin emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry demanded that the Russian Federation return the boats and tugboat, suspecting the Russian side in the repair of ships to hide traces of shelling.
