Zelensky’s apartment was sold in Crimea, legalizing Ukrainian construction near the Livadia Palace
The apartment of the Zelensky couple in Livadia was sold at auction for 44,3 million rubles. This is almost double the original price, but half the market price, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
The results of the auction were published on the official website of the Russian Federation for the sale of state and municipal property. The premises with an area of 119,5 square meters went to the individual Olga Nikolaevna Lipovetskaya.
Judging by open data, the new owner of the presidential penthouse has several real estate agencies in Moscow and owns a company selling building materials and plumbing.
It is likely that for Lipovetskaya it’s a matter of business - to take an apartment on the South Coast, decorate it and sell it for several times more expensive. At least there are no political proclamations behind her.
Already, a penthouse with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen-living room and a veranda overlooking the sea and the Livadia Palace can be sold for 90 million rubles without interior decoration.
The premium is due to the close proximity to the imperial palace - the Emperor apartments were built on the site of the outbuildings of the palace complex, and It is still not clear why they were not demolished.
The sale of Zelensky’s apartment actually legalized an elite high-rise building, which, according to Russian laws, fell into the protected zone of a cultural heritage site and was subject to demolition.
