The terrorist threat regime has been extended in Crimea
The high “yellow” level of terrorist threat in Crimea has been extended until May 26.
The list of regions where security measures have been strengthened includes Armyansk, Dzhankoy, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoysky and Krasnoperekopsky districts, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The previous regime of high anti-terrorism protection was in effect in the Republic of Crimea until 20:00 on May 11. It extended to 7 regions, including Kerch and Leninsky district. Now they are not on the list.
However, the high alert regime remains at the facilities of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Fuel and Energy, the Ministry of Industrial Policy and the State Committee for Water Resources.
All necessary measures to ensure security are taken by the relevant law enforcement agencies, republican and municipal authorities.
Given the presence of terrorist threats, Crimeans are asked to pay attention to citizens dressed inappropriately for the season, people in a tense mental state, abandoned cars and ownerless bags while on the street, in crowded places and on public transport. Report all facts to law enforcement agencies.
