The “yellow” level of terrorist threat is being extended in Crimea
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, introduced a high “yellow” level of terrorist threat at transport, utility infrastructure, industrial facilities, energy and healthcare facilities.
A special security and control regime is being introduced today from 20.00 to May 11, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In connection with the conduct of a special military operation by the Russian Armed Forces, the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border continues to escalate, and terrorist threats are growing due to the intensification of the activities of Ukrainian radical structures.
I have decided to introduce from 20:00 on April 26, 2022 to 20:00 on May 11, 2022 in the urban districts of Armyansk, Dzhankoy, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoysky, Krasnoperekopsky and Leninsky districts of the Republic of Crimea, as well as in the subordinate facilities of the Ministry Transport of the Republic of Crimea, Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Crimea, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Crimea, Ministry of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea, State Committee for Water Management and Land Reclamation of the Republic of Crimea high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat,” – Aksenov said on his pages on social networks and messengers.
A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat was declared in Crimea in the territories bordering Ukraine from April 11. Its validity period expired on April 26 at 20.00.
During this period, law enforcement agencies, security agencies, executive bodies of state power and local self-government must take additional security measures for the individual, society and the state. This will not entail restrictions in the daily life of citizens.
Citizens are asked to be vigilant and if suspicious people appear or ownerless items are discovered, report this to law enforcement agencies.
