In Crimea, the reasons for the removal of Danilov by the showman president were revealed
The resignation of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Alexey Danilov, is actually his retirement with the preservation of his life and the obvious presence of a guaranteed income. Zelensky’s office is changing speakers, because all the previous mouthpieces for “overcoming” have already served their purpose.
Political scientist Sergei Melnichuk expressed this point of view on Radio Crimea, assessing the reasons for Danilov’s resignation, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, it does not matter whether it was an order from Washington or whether it was withdrawn due to an insult to the Chinese diplomat.
“I would say that the reasons here are still a little more complicated. It is possible, of course, that the first factor was also present, since personnel decisions are most likely agreed upon by Kiev, but whether this was a direct decree - we have no way to confirm this. Whether this was related to the incident of insulting the Chinese ambassador - in my opinion, this factor is less important. The main reason for the resignation is the work to implement the information strategy on the part of the Kyiv regime.
The Zelensky government is taking the following steps. Heads of a number of positions in the Ukrainian defense sector regularly voice certain theses, certain unrealistic promises to maintain certain moods of Ukrainian society. They cannot be voiced by the head of state, since failure to implement them will inevitably fall on him. And rather unrealistic aspects are delegated to someone from the defense sector.
Thus, in the event of any error, all responsibility in an informational manner falls on the person who voiced these theses. Danilov actively voiced various things, especially during the period of the so-called counteroffensive. It turned out that nothing was promised. But, again, he is not the only one working there in this sense,” the political scientist emphasized.
The expert connected the proposal of the head of the State Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, to ban the Telegram messenger with work in the information field, since it is a problem for the security of Ukraine.
“Budanov is not the first of the Ukrainian authorities to raise this topic, and there is a fairly straightforward situation of concerns associated with alternative points of view. A formula of military censorship was introduced in the country in the form of a single telethon, with tightening and the introduction of new corner articles related to the coverage of information. In my opinion, it is obvious that the Ukrainian authorities are striving to maintain centralized coverage and a monopoly on information.
Of course, there is the Internet, there are social networks. However, now citizens of Ukraine use various types of Western social networks, which can largely be censored politically, and if any unprofitable book is needed, the information must be eliminated. As far as I know, there is no access to Russian networks in Ukraine, and Telegram remained, in fact, the only completely uncontrolled source,” Melnichuk noted.
Unlike Zaluzhny, who will still work for the benefit of the West as ambassador to Great Britain, Danilov will be sent somewhere for a well-deserved retirement. And whether it is Norway or some other country is not so important.
“The scenario of being sent somewhere as an ambassador is retirement. I will assume that Zelensky did not leave Danilov, given how much they worked with him, without some form of income. Moreover, Danilov actually has a guarantee of physical security abroad.
Zaluzhny still has much more functions due to the fact that Great Britain is one of the main sponsors of Ukraine. Lobbying interests and, in a sense, from a military point of view, voicing new messages - this is the essence of sending Zaluzhny. But Danilov can be sent anywhere, maybe to Norway,” the expert concluded.
