In Crimea, they talked about regional benefits for the families of fallen defenders of Russia
The families of Crimean military personnel who died in Ukraine are paid 1 million rubles at the expense of the republic. Also, social assistance in the amount of 5 thousand rubles will be accrued monthly for children left without fathers.
Prime Minister of the Government of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk announced this on the Millet TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have seven victims assigned to municipal administrations to provide assistance,” he noted. “Also, at the initiative of the municipalities, the memory of the children who lived, studied, and served in Crimea will be immortalized.”
The Prime Minister recalled that the Russian Ministry of Defense initiated the allocation of land plots for Northern Military District veterans and decorated soldiers in the Moscow region, Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
“We supported this initiative and are ready to provide land plots to all veterans and those who have distinguished themselves,” Gotsanyuk assured.
Recently, the three largest retail chains in Crimea introduced a 10% discount on all goods for military families participating in the SVO. Discount cards are distributed through military units, their volume is limited.
According to Gotsanyuk, since February 24, more than 600 thousand residents of Donbass and neighboring regions of Ukraine have arrived in Crimea through mobile checkpoints. Most moved to other regions of the Russian Federation, but several thousand remained in Crimea. 800 people were officially employed, more than a thousand children went to Crimean schools, and more than a hundred went to colleges and universities of the republic.
In addition to a one-time payment of 10 thousand, social benefits will soon begin to be paid to refugees - disabled people, pensioners, veterans, pregnant women and single mothers, children under 17 years of age. The size of payments is 3 thousand to 20 thousand rubles.
