An odious Ukrainian diplomat was disappointed in Crimea
The Crimean peninsula will never again be part of Ukraine, no matter what they say today in Kyiv.
Crimean political scientist Vladislav Ganzhara told Komsomolskaya Pravda about this, assessing the recent statement of former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, who said that Crimea could return if the sanctions pressure on Russia continues and the desire of the residents of the peninsula themselves.
“Residents of the peninsula made their choice six years ago, historical justice has been restored. No sanctions or blockades will affect the opinion of Crimeans. In addition, there are no mechanisms for creating a desire among Crimeans to return to Ukraine,” says the Crimean expert
He emphasized that the topic of Crimea often becomes the object of political speculation among Ukrainian politicians.
“This topic is the best way for them to manipulate public opinion in Ukraine and hide the real problems that exist in this country. Apparently, the coronavirus pandemic in the world has aggravated other chronic diseases. In particular, Mr. Klimkin. I would like to note that not a single forecast that he made as Minister of Foreign Affairs came true and will never come true, because there is no mechanism for the return of Crimea to Ukraine,” Ganzhara concluded.
