Crimea reacted calmly to American sanctions
Simferopol, April 12 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) - American sanctions against the Chernomorneftegaz company are an element of the global struggle for control over energy resources.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Rustam Temirgaliev wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“US support for “democracy” in Ukraine, as well as in Iraq or Libya, is very often accompanied by contracts of American companies for the exclusive production of hydrocarbons in these countries,” he also noted.
“The Black Sea shelf around Crimea is rich in oil and gas, and many Western companies were already preparing for super-profits... But Crimea was reunited with Russia, Chernomorneftegaz became Crimean Russian property, and accordingly, the proceeds from production will go to the development of the peninsula, and not into the pockets of Western corporations,” believes Crimean official.
