In Crimea, after 3 months, officials began to think about how to deal with queues when issuing Russian passports
Sevastopol, August 05 (Navigator, Denis Kuzmin) – One of the reasons for long queues when issuing Russian passports in Sevastopol may be a lack of specialists, Sergei Menyailo suggested at a meeting in the government.

Menyailo complained that instead of the Federal Migration Service, the population blames the government of Sevastopol for dishonest work.
“Although you are not a structure subordinate to the government of Sevastopol, but if you don’t take real steps to ensure that citizens don’t stand in line and write complaints, by the way, objective complaints, well then, we’ll probably talk with your guidance. Queues arise from a lack of organization of work.
I understand that it takes 15 minutes to issue a passport and so on, which means the work is poorly organized. Or the organization of work was poorly carried out, dear friends. People blame the government of Sevastopol for this issue. So let's get organized. If necessary, I will contact the head of the Federal Migration Service of Russia so that people can be sent to help you. We need to, let’s open additional document collection points,” Menyailo said.
“Please sort it out today. There is media. Make people aware of the reasons for these queues. Organize this matter. Organize this work and report to me. Otherwise, we will talk with your leadership, because this cannot be allowed,” the mayor said.
