In Crimea, the “sleeper” of the Ukrainian national battalions received 8 years in prison
The Alushta City Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced a local resident detained by FSB officers for illegal possession of explosive devices and explosives.
According to the press service of the FSB department for Crimea, it was established that at his place of residence the citizen kept a homemade explosive device with an explosive charge of more than 500 grams.
“In addition, during the search, a pistol, TNT, gunpowder and other items related to illegal activities were found. Computer equipment and mobile communications were seized, on which video materials with radical content, photographs depicting nationalist symbols and fascist paraphernalia, as well as correspondence with members of Ukrainian nationalist battalions were found.
At the court hearing, the defendant admitted his guilt in committing the incriminated crimes in full.
The court sentenced him to eight years of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony with a fine of 30000 rubles,” the FSB said in a statement.
