A tourist cashback program for children has launched in Crimea
Sales of vouchers to children's health camps under the tourist cashback program started today. For a purchased voucher, parents will receive a refund of 50% of the money spent, but not more than 20 thousand rubles.
You can send your child to the camp as early as May 1, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The camp determines its participation in the program independently, so cashback does not apply to all children's recreation facilities. Now in the database “mirtravel.rf” there are 15 children’s camps in Crimea with the cost of a trip starting from 50 thousand rubles for a shift of 21 days. The government of the republic centrally buys cheaper vouchers for recreation and health benefits for children in preferential categories. For them, 176 thousand vouchers were purchased from the budget from May to October.
“So that as many children as possible can have a rest, the land rent for children’s camps has been fixed at 1 ruble,” said Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean Government Irina Kiviko. “The fixed cost of the tour is 1248 rubles per day.”
The regions of the Russian Federation have their own programs for compensating the cost of vouchers or their centralized purchase. It is expected that at least 450 thousand children will use the tourist cashback. To return the funds, the Russian government will send 7,5 billion rubles.
