In Crimea, the court fined trans-Ukrainian Internet saboteurs and gave them a final warning
Two residents of the Leninsky district of Crimea were fined for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Each will pay 30 thousand rubles, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The essence of the accusation was that the men separately took a video on their phones of the passage of a train with military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and posted this recording on a social network. Which one is not specified in the court decision, but it is noted that there is constant discrediting of the RF Armed Forces.
“At the court hearing, the offenders fully admitted their guilt and repented,” the press service of the Leninsky District Court clarified.
They also recalled that if during the year violators are caught in similar acts, they will face criminal liability under Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - “public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security, or the exercise by state bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers for these purposes.” The sanction under the article provides for a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles and up to 3 years of imprisonment.
According to blogger Alexander Talipov, the reason for the administrative penalty was a video posted in the telegram channel “Crimea - the land of partisan glory,” where they proposed anonymously publishing messages about the movement of Russian military equipment. However, it was not difficult for the intelligence services to identify the authors.
