A memorial plaque was installed at the school in the village of Novoselskoye, Chernomorsky district, where the deceased soldier of the Russian Guard special forces studied.

Colleagues, friends and relatives of the soldier came to honor his memory.

They paid tribute to the hero with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the marble slab from which Alexander Ivankov will henceforth greet the students of his school.
