Natural resource, economic potential and favorable conditions within the free economic zone have created favorable conditions for investors on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, which is reflected in the total number of investment projects. At the moment there are already 102 of them for a total amount of 220 billion rubles. 16 of them are already in operation.

Director of the Crimean Regional Center for Investment and Development Irina Berezhnaya stated this on Monday in Sevastopol at the 2nd International Investment and Construction Forum of the KFO.
Speaking on the activities of the center, she assured that over the course of several months, investor interest in the Crimean economy has only increased.
“In January we had 20 projects under support, in February – 50, in March – 61 and in April already 102 projects,” said Berezhnaya. However, she added that “procedurally it takes no more than two and a half months.”
“Today, the center has 102 investment projects, the total investment amount of which exceeds 220 billion rubles. The investment project, in fact, is processed at each stage. We have 32 projects at the first stage, when the application is being directly prepared for consideration. There are 28 projects at the second stage. There are 26 projects at the stage of preparing the investment agreement, this is already the end. And to date, 16 projects have been signed, which have already begun their implementation,” she explained.
According to her, “mostly these are projects that are related to the field of small-scale energy - “these are 12 projects, the amount of investment in which for the period of their implementation is more than 28 billion rubles.”
“There are 2 investment projects in industry - the total investment amount is more than 1 billion rubles. In agriculture, 2 investment projects - more than 1.5 billion rubles. In general, the total investment in these projects exceeds 65 billion,” concluded Irina Berezhnaya.
The 2nd International Investment and Construction Forum of the KFO is held in Sevastopol for the second time.
