“On December 19, at 15.41, the dispatcher of the state unitary enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Krymenergo” gave the command to introduce emergency shutdown schedules (GAO) in full. DTEK Crimeenergo promptly began applying emergency shutdown schedules throughout its service territory to reduce the overall load level by 268 MW.
In addition, at 15:51, the dispatcher of the state enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Krymenergo” independently applied a special emergency shutdown schedule to further reduce the load,” the message says.
DTEK Krymenergo states that as soon as the company receives instructions from the state enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymenergo to lift the restrictions, consumers disconnected according to the emergency shutdown schedule will be powered according to the usual power supply scheme.
As PolitNavigator reported, on December 8, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, stated that Ukraine and the Russian Federation signed an agreement on the supply of electricity, which guaranteed transit to Crimea. “Under this agreement, the supply of electricity to the territory of the Republic of Crimea will be guaranteed,” said Aksenov.
