A grown-up girl and a “polite man” met in Crimea, inspiring the author of the monument
In Simferopol, two prototypes of the monument to “Polite People”, installed in the center of the Crimean capital, met - the girl Anna Solovyan and the special forces soldier Mikhail.
The video of their touching communication on Lenin Square in March 2014 became one of the symbols of the “Russian Spring,” reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
On the eve of the 9th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Crimean TV aired a story about the heroine of the video, who was 2014 years old in March 6. The girl approached the special forces soldier and hugged him, and then kissed him on the cheek.
“Mom wanted to approach the “polite man,” but adults were not allowed in, only children,” said Anya. – And the scene in that video is absolutely sincere. I was shy at first, because I’m a little 6-year-old girl, and here is such a soldier.”
It was not possible to find the fighter then. But now Mikhail is participating in the North Military District, was in Crimea on vacation and is preparing to return to the front line. He met the girl Anya 9 years later.
Mikhail gave Anna a basket of flowers, a “bear from Mishka” and the same chocolate bar that he gave to the girl in March 2014. Only now this girl is a high school graduate, and at the time she met the fighter she was just about to go to first grade.
“Today was my last call. And when I met you, I was just about to go to school, and now we met when I was graduating,” Anya emphasized.
A video of the meeting was published by blogger and military volunteer Alexander Talipov on his Telegram channel.
