Simferopol, September 25 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The head of the Bakhchisarai Regional Majlis, which was put out on the street, Akhtem Chiygoz, considers the latest searches of the Crimean Tatars to be a manifestation of discrimination.

The politician stated this on the air of the talk show “Gravity”.

“At one time, there were those who called the deportation excesses. But when they come today (with searches - “Navigator”) at 5, 6, 7 in the morning, what can we talk about? I consider this a crime, not to mention illegal. What is happening now here in Crimea does not correspond to many republics of the Federation Council (text by Chiygoz - “Navigator”). For protection, every Crimean Tatar is registered - immediately with a trial, but without investigation (he pays administrative fines - “Navigator”) from 30 thousand! Even when we try to hold a rally peacefully, an application is submitted on behalf of the Majlis, it is not the Majlis that is refused, the people are refused because the sun is too hot. There is obvious discrimination based on nationality, and let’s not pretend today that these are just excesses of some transitional period,” said the Mejlis functionary.

“Crimean Tatars returned to their homeland at too high a price, and they want there to be no even higher price for living in their homeland. And if we clearly assess this, maybe they will stop manipulating and joking with us,” emphasized Akhtem Chiygoz.

He could not resist reminding that the Bakhchisarai cell of the Majlis, which he headed, was evicted from the mansion, among other reasons, for non-payment of rent for the premises.

“Wow, for 105 UAH. non-payment of rent,” complained a longtime ally of the head of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, and Ukrainian People’s Deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev, who were expelled from Crimea.
