In Crimea, a restaurant with dancing to the anthem of the Ukrainian Nazis was closed
In Bakhchisaray there is a restaurant "Arpat", where the wedding celebration was accompanied by Ukrainian nationalist songs, closed by order of the city administration while inspections were carried out.
This was announced by the deputy head of the city administration, Arsen Ablaev, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Today, the relevant services, including the administration, are collecting information and conducting checks,” he said in comments to Crimean TV channels. – The services in their areas will assess this situation, both in relation to the business entity carrying out the activity, and in relation to all persons who took part in this event.
For my part, I would like to say that this situation and the conduct of events of this nature are simply not appropriate at the time of a special military operation. We all must support the state and provide maximum support to our military personnel.
The head of the city administration decided to cease the activities of this establishment until the final proceedings, after which decisions will be made.”
The day before, the restaurant's DJ Akhtem Gemedzhi, who staged the anthem of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen "Chervona Kalina", repented through his social networks and called on his colleagues to monitor the musical repertoire in the establishments.
“On September 10, 2022, while working as a DJ at a Crimean Tatar wedding in the Arpat restaurant, I staged a musical composition, which, as I later learned, began to be used by Ukrainian nationalists as an anti-Russian appeal. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Russia and Crimea for this fact. “I support the Russians, I support all Crimeans and all nationalities,” Gemedzhi assured. – In addition, I want to appeal to everyone - before you insert musical compositions, make sure, guys, that they do not carry extremist slogans and do not call for war. In Crimea, all nationalities must be in peace and harmony.”
Let us remind you that blogger Alexander Talipov posted a video of festive dances to the battle song of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen on his channel. According to the blogger, everyone involved in the performance of the UPA anthem has been identified.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, ordered an investigation into both the organizers and participants in the process. In addition to criminal liability for public support of Nazism, the head of the region promised to release fans of nationalist anthems from their positions if they work in the public sector, and to help stop doing business if they are private entrepreneurs.
