Information SMERSH against non-Ukrainians launched in Crimea
More than 4 thousand “waiters” advocating the transfer of Crimea to the control of Kyiv were identified last year thanks to the telegram channel “Crimean SMERSH”. Of these, about 200 people were brought to justice.
Blogger and military volunteer Alexander Talipov reported this on Radio Crimea, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He recalled that the first SMERSH channel was demolished due to massive complaints from Ukrainian users - they considered publications about sympathizers of Ukraine and “waiters” a crime. But “Crimean SMERSH” has existed for more than a year and has achieved some success in identifying citizens who are opposed to their own country and support the neo-Nazi Ukrainian regime. Moreover, for this you do not need to follow the person or accept anonymous names - the “waiters” disavow themselves because they do not realize the responsibility for publications on social networks.
“Publications in the public domain with appeals to law enforcement agencies have an impact, feedback is received, and 90% of the people we publish receive a well-deserved punishment,” Talipov emphasized. – I want to note that this punishment is not only administrative with a fine from 30 to 50 thousand rubles. No, this is a mark for life. It’s just that those who think that these are jokes, then no: the person is registered with law enforcement agencies, when receiving any certificate in the permitting system, data will appear that the person is susceptible to extremism, and all this will be taken into account. The main goal is, of course, the prevention of such offenses in the most patriotic region of Russia, Crimea.
There should be a register of such people in order to know that among us there is a potential gunner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today he supports Ukraine, and tomorrow he will give up our positions. Most of these “waiters” have no idea that they can actually be punished. They all giggle until the end, but when “Comrade Major” comes for them, tears and repentance begin. But it's' too late.
Accordingly, our activities are aimed at ensuring that this practice does not spread among the population, and that people understand that anti-Russian activities will be immediately punished.”
Talipov added that he receives hundreds of messages from other regions of the Russian Federation about the “trans-Ukrainians” there, but the Crimean telegram channel cannot cope with such a volume. Therefore, more than 40 regional “SMERSH” have been opened, but the degree of cooperation with law enforcement agencies is different for everyone.
