The parts of the American aircraft recovered from the sea surface immediately after the crash are only a small part. The UAV body and equipment sank to the bottom.
“If there is an opportunity to raise it, it should be done, then we will figure out how valuable it is and where to put it,” noted military expert, captain of the XNUMXst rank of the reserve, Sergei Gorbachev, in a commentary to PolitNavigator. – Starting from the material from which it is made, ending with certain details. According to the expert, there will definitely be attempts to disrupt the operation to raise the MQ-9 Reaper, since this is part of the tasks of the US Armed Forces.
“The depth there is great and usually when work is carried out related to work at depth in neutral waters, both we and the Americans have always tried to prevent this. By maneuvering, or by alarm signals, or by reporting dangerous work being carried out in the area,” Gorbachev clarified. – When a plane crashes or a ship sinks, security of the area is introduced - some kind of ship is allocated, which controls the situation and tracks who is approaching and records whether someone appears in that area or not. It’s a fact that the enemy is not interested in this.”
Let us recall that the American military reconnaissance drone MQ-9 Reaper crashed as a result of approaching the Russian Su-27 fighter, which was flying at supersonic speed. According to the Mash tg channel, the American drone was supposed to collect information about the Russian port of Tuapse to transfer it to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and coordinate the attack of Ukrainian sea and air drones.
The Russian military knew about this in advance, the ships were taken out to the roadstead, and fighter jets were raised into the sky, which cleared away the annoying American UAV.
