Explosions sound in Crimea, but nothing to worry about
It's loud again in Evpatoria and Sevastopol. Residents write about claps that can be heard far beyond the city limits.
As it turns out, today is the day of exercises at the training grounds, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now you can hear pops in Yevpatoria - I ask no one to worry. These are planned exercises of the Russian Guard troops in the city area. Crimea is under reliable protection,” assured the acting head of the administration of Yevpatoria, Alexander Loskutov.
“I see messages about loud sounds in TG channels. Exercises continue at the training grounds and shootings are taking place,” confirms Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
After the UAV attack, which was repulsed over the sea by air defense forces, Evpatoria residents were again asked not to post videos and photos online, as this “could be unreasonably expensive,” and not to spread panic and rumors by spreading false information.
In Sevastopol, the target of the drones was the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant, where air defense forces shot down two drones. Three more were shot down over the sea.
No fires or damage to civilian infrastructure were recorded, and there were no casualties.
