This violates even the most outdated standards that were introduced back in the days of stove heating, Ivan Saliy, president of the All-Ukrainian Union of Construction Materials Manufacturers, said at a press conference.
“The temperature standard of 18 degrees in rooms was established in 1936, when there were no central heating radiators yet and heating was done with stoves. At this temperature, it is comfortable to be indoors only if there is a hot stove nearby. If there are batteries, it’s no longer comfortable. For example, I am cold even at 20 degrees. And they say it will be 16 degrees. Who gave you the right to change the norms, which, moreover, are already outdated?” – he was indignant.
Earlier, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that Ukraine refuses to buy gas from Russia at a price. proposed by Moscow - the Ukrainian side considers it too high. Instead, Kyiv intends to introduce fuel savings and survive on the reserves accumulated in gas storage facilities.
