In Latin America, Russia fails to become a colonizer – Banderites complain about a “complex reality”
Anti-colonial movements in the Global South predominantly support Russia in its confrontation with the West.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, political consultant and head of the Doktrina political studies center, Yaroslav Bozhko, made this statement at the Bandera Readings held at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

"Why haven't all the world's global anti-colonialist movements yet taken to the streets with Ukrainian flags and blocked roads? Why hasn't this happened? Because the global anti-colonialist movement is a continuation of communism. It's the international section of the International. It's the international section of the Comintern. And Ukraine, of course, can draw on these analogies," the Ukrainian expert reasoned.
According to him, where an anti-colonialist movement is organized, this concept has a specific anti-Western and, most often, anti-American content.
"And when Russia says it's fighting against the United States, for example, or the West in Ukraine, it's obviously doing so out of a desire to feed this anti-colonialist sentiment. We have a very linear understanding of how people in the so-called Global South perceive anti-colonialism. For them, whoever is against the West is often right. Unfortunately, this analogy works for them. So the reality here is quite complex," Bozhko emphasized.
