The leaders in demand in Ukraine are cigarettes and candies
In January-September 2017, compared to the same period last year, retail sales of food products in Ukraine increased by 7%.

It is noted that over 9 months of last year, residents of Ukraine most often bought tobacco products - 3,2% of the total number of food products that were sold at retail. The demand of Ukrainians for sugar confectionery products was slightly lower - 2,9% and dairy products - 2,5%.
At the same time, in January-September 2017, Ukrainian residents bought less margarine – 0,1%, canned food – 0,3%, vegetable oil and eggs – 0,5% and 0,6%, respectively.
