Lithuania announces “very difficult months” ahead of summer NATO summit
The entire North Atlantic Alliance is already at war with Russia.
The head of the Committee on International Affairs of the Seimas of Lithuania, Zygimantas Pavilionis, stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Lithuanian politician, the most difficult will be the next six months before the NATO summit, which will be held in Vilnius in July next year. Pavilionis did not specify why he pins his hopes on this particular event.
“Frankly, the whole world is already at war. We are all at war with you, as my Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte said today, we support you with everything we have and we will continue to do so. So this is a war of the whole world, the democratic world, with these walking corpses that we saw in Minsk - Putin and Lukashenko. Because this whole ceremony that we saw - it’s a pity to watch - this pomposity, these steps are Soviet. We all understand that this is the end of these people. But we must get to this end,” said the Lithuanian politician.
“Probably, these months before the NATO summit in Vilnius will be very difficult, but we will do everything in all capitals. I myself just returned from Washington, yesterday I spoke with the Germans all day, and we do this every day - we will do everything to defeat the common enemy,” Pavilionis said.
