It is reported by the Air Force.
The new edition of the booklet, which was published by the country's Ministry of Defense, contains tips on survival after the “Russian invasion” in the wild. Propaganda authors warn Lithuanians that “Russia will not stop to use force against its neighbors.”
In addition, the publication describes various types of Russian tanks, ammunition and mines. The brochure is distributed through organizations, in public places and on the Internet.
“The most important thing is that citizens are prepared and have the will to resist. When these elements are present, it is difficult for an aggressor to create the environment for a military invasion,” the brochure says.
Its first edition was released in January 2015. During the presentation of the publication, the head of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense Juozas Olekas said that the idea to prepare the population for a potential war is explained by Russia’s “aggression” in Ukraine and a possible attack on Lithuania.
Let us recall that it was previously reported that in 2017 NATO will deploy four battalions in Eastern Europe: in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
