The LPR authorities are considering introducing a floating exchange rate of the Russian ruble against the Ukrainian hryvnia from September 1 instead of a fixed one.

“We have already talked, and there is already talk that we will finish this month, and from September 1 we will make a normal floating exchange rate for everything,” he said.
This should, in his opinion, contribute “including” to the equalization of prices for goods in the LPR.
Let us remind you that in accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the LPR, which came into force on March 15, the use of four currencies is officially allowed on the territory of the republic to pay for goods and services - the Ukrainian hryvnia, the Russian ruble, the US dollar and the euro. From April 1, the LPR introduced a fixed exchange rate of the hryvnia against the Russian ruble at the level of 1:2.
