An official representative of the department noted that Kyiv still has some time left, according to the agreement signed in Minsk, at least a day to begin the process of withdrawing equipment. The interlocutor added that the ceasefire along the entire demarcation line is still being observed.
Deputy Commander of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin, in turn, said that the withdrawal of weapons in accordance with the agreement signed recently will begin in the Donetsk Republic after October 18, subject to a 48-hour silence regime.
Earlier on October 3, the LPR people's militia began withdrawing tanks from the front line in Donbass. The General Staff of Ukraine, in turn, announced the beginning of the process of withdrawal of weapons with a caliber of up to 100 millimeters. According to the press secretary of the General Staff of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev, “the process of withdrawal began with the compilation of lists of weapons and equipment that should be withdrawn from the line of contact of the parties.”
