The Council of Ministers of the LPR adopted a resolution “On approval of the program of social support for persons released from captivity.” The resolution came into force on September 30.

This was reported by the press service of the Council of Ministers of the LPR.

In accordance with the program, those released from captivity will be provided with:

•providing medical care, carrying out therapeutic and diagnostic measures on a free basis by healthcare institutions of the LPR;
•issuance of a document that will confirm the identity of the person released from captivity on a free basis (passport or temporary identity card);
•payment of one-time financial assistance in the amount of 5 thousand rubles;
•allocation of flexible housing.

The program will be valid until December 31, 2016.
