The law on local elections adopted by Kiev unilaterally was “sent to the forest” in the LPR
The LPR is not interested in the law on local elections adopted the day before by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, since it was developed by Kiev unilaterally and without coordination with representatives of Lugansk and Donetsk.

About this today stated the head of the Council of Ministers of the LPR Gennady Tsypkalov.
This is how he commented on the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 14 in the second reading of the law on local elections. If it is signed by President Poroshenko, local government elections scheduled for October 25 this year may be partially held under the new electoral system. However, the law does not provide for holding elections on the territory of the LPR and DPR.
“We are moving only in accordance with the Minsk agreements, and all issues that are raised must be agreed upon with the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. There is no agreement, and this issue (the adoption of the law on local elections is “PolitNavigator”) we are not interested, since the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada adopted it unilaterally,” he said.
