Vodafone mobile communications have stopped working in the LPR
The mobile operator Vodafone, formerly known as MTS, stopped working in the LPR and Ukrainian-controlled territories of the Luhansk region as a result of the accident.
This was reported by LIC with reference to the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to available information from the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the LPR, a large-scale accident occurred on the network of the Vodafone Ukraine operator. There is no mobile communication on the territory of the LPR and the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine,” the department said.
The cellular company promised to resume communication as soon as possible.
“According to the technical staff of this telecom operator, restoration work will be carried out as soon as possible,” the message says.
“As a result of the lack of Vodafone Ukraine communications, the load on the network of the republican operator Lugacom has increased. Temporary interruptions in making outgoing calls are possible,” the LPR Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications noted.
Let us remind you that in the DPR, Vodafone communications were never restored due to the reluctance of the Ukrainian leadership to cooperate.
