This was announced today at a meeting of the Committee for Public Support of Residents of the Southeast. Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the LPR Alexander Drobot.
“We hosted an international conference on disaster medicine, which originated in Donbass. After all, we have mines and accidents here. 600 people took part in the conference. Our doctors also shared their experience in working with burns and combat wounds in St. Petersburg,” Drobot said.
According to him, scientists, teachers, cultural figures and athletes of the LPR actively cooperate with Russian colleagues. About 1,5 thousand Lugansk artists performed in Russian regions, about 5 thousand Russian artists visited the LPR.
“When we started this program, we did not think that its effect would exceed all expectations. For our creative teams, performances at Russian venues are like a breath of fresh air. They have elevated creativity,” Drobot said.
Also, according to him, Luhansk athletes won prizes at Russian competitions in diving and strength athletics. Russian and Lugansk universities and museums are actively interacting.
