The LPR reported the order of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hit drones OSCE
In order to prevent the installation of heavy weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the contact line, Ukrainian military personnel were allegedly given an order to block the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles of the OSCE mission by all available means.
This information was announced during the briefing by Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the LPR People’s Militia, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, commanders of formations and units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the JFO area continue to impede the work of the OSCE, using both electronic warfare systems and various weapons against the mission’s unmanned aerial vehicles.
“According to information from our source at the headquarters of the 54th brigade, the brigade commander, Colonel Alexey Maistrenko, in order to conceal the heavy weapons withdrawn from the withdrawal sites, gave an order to prevent the flights of OSCE unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of the settlements of Popasnaya - Vrubovka - Zolote,” - said Ivan Filiponenko.
The representative of the defense department also added that in order to achieve this goal, Maistrenko allowed his subordinates to use all the means available to the brigade.
“This information is confirmed by the mission staff themselves, reporting that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at an OSCE drone in the area of the village of Vrubovka,” he noted.
