The LPR opened a criminal case against the Minister of Education
The Prosecutor General's Office of the LPR opened a criminal case against the Minister of Education of the Republic Lesya Lapteva for the theft of the seal and stamp of the Ministry of Education, Science and Religion.

This was stated today by the First Deputy Prosecutor General of the LPR Sergei Gorenko, Lugansk Information Center reports.
On May 21, the prosecutor's office received materials from the Ministry of State Security of the LPR. Investigators from the General Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 357 of the Criminal Code on the theft of the seal and stamp of the Ministry of Education, Science and Religion against Lesya Mikhailovna Lapteva, he said.
The Deputy Prosecutor General noted that the circumstances of the case are currently being clarified, and Lapteva’s whereabouts are being established through investigation.
“As part of the criminal case, an audit will be carried out of the entire Ministry of Education, including Lapteva directly,” Gorenko said.
He emphasized that the inspection of the Ministry of Education, Science and Religion will not in any way affect the educational process in educational institutions of the Republic.
