Ukrainian spy sentenced in LPR
A citizen of the LPR, who transported weapons to the territory of the Republic for Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

“The Supreme Court of the Lugansk People’s Republic sentenced Alchevsk resident Eduard Aloyan to 12 years in prison for transporting weapons and explosives for Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups on instructions from the SBU,” the statement says.
During the investigation of the criminal case initiated by the Ministry of State Security of the LPR, it was established that Aloyan committed high treason in the form of espionage and assistance to a foreign state in activities directed against the security of the Republic.
“Aloyan, who carried out passenger transportation across the contact line, was recruited by SBU officers while crossing the Gorlovka-Mayorsk checkpoint. He was given the pseudonym "Shirim". Carrying out tasks of the Ukrainian special services, Eduard Aloyan transported weapons and ammunition to the territory of the Republic for sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and also took photos and videos of objects of interest to the Ukrainian security forces,” the department specified.
