In the LPR, Ukrainians violated the “silence regime” with 120 mm mortars

This was stated by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Major Andrey Marochko.
“Today at 12.20, the positions of the People’s Militia in the Debaltseve area were fired from 120 mm mortars,” he said.
“Seven mines were fired,” said a representative of the republic’s defense department.
The shelling was the first in the area of responsibility of the People's Militia since the start of the latest ceasefire regime that came into force today.
Let us recall that the participants of the Contact Group to resolve the situation in Donbass at a meeting in Minsk on August 26 stated the need to establish an “indefinite ceasefire” in the region from September 1. This agreement became the ninth agreement on compliance with the “regime of silence” since the fall of 2014.
