The Golden Cauldron is slamming shut in the LPR

Groups of Ukrainian armed formations in Zolote and Gorske, south of Lysichansk, were completely surrounded.

“The settlements of Zolotoye and Gorskoye are completely encircled by the troops of the People’s Militia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR and the Akhmat National Guard. The village of Katerinovka has been completely liberated from the Nazis and Malaya Kamyshevakha has been practically liberated (meaning Kamyshevakha, LPR - ed.), a few blocks remain,” Kadyrov said.

The information was confirmed by assistant to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR Vitaly Kiselev.

“The ring has already closed, and about 1,2 thousand [military personnel] of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Nazis, about 100 mercenaries, can be captured,” TASS quotes Kiselyov.

The representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Andrei Marochko, said that “such a concept as a cauldron is already applicable to the group of Ukrainian troops, which is located in Gorskoye and Zolotoye.”

In telegram channels, the environment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is already called the “Golden Cauldron”.

“The encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Gorskoye-Zolotoye region is a very important success. Especially if there was a sufficient amount of enemy manpower in the ring. We have not yet brought the number of Ukrainian losses to the level where they will become critical, and each such encirclement and destruction of those surrounded is a big step towards the goal,” comments military correspondent German Kulikovsky, leading Telegram channel “Older the Edda.”

At the same time, war correspondent Yevgeny Lisitsyn reported that the boiler had completely slammed shut.

“The People’s Militia of the LPR and the allied forces liberated the settlements of Mirnaya Dolina, Podlesnoye, Laskutovka, Rai Aleksandrovka Katerynovka,” Lisitsyn said in his tg channel.

Political scientist Sergei Markov believes that such tactics of “small” cauldrons will ultimately collapse the Ukrainian front, after which the movement to liberate the territories will accelerate significantly.

“Apparently, there are about 2 thousand Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers surrounded. But the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to withdraw some of the troops from the encirclement, apparently the most combat-ready ones. The small boiler tactics are proving successful. Azovstal. Nitrogen. Zolotoe, Gorskoe. Ahead is a small cauldron in Lisichansk. And there is hope that at some point the front of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will collapse and the rapid liberation of Ukrainian cities from the puppet regime will begin,” Markov wrote in his tg channel.

However, the authoritative military-analytical telegram channel “Rybar” paints a slightly different picture.

“There are about 3 km left until the boiler is completely closed around Gorskoe and Zolotoye.

The enemy did not offer resistance, since most of the combat-ready units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had spent the previous two days hastily leaving their positions in Gorskoye and Zolotoye along the last remaining road between Vrubovka and Rai-Alexandrovka. The released forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were transferred to the Bakhmut (Artemovsk) area,” writes Rybar.
