London is in turmoil after Russian cartographers blinded a British military aircraft.
Hysteria continues in Britain over the Russian oceanographic research vessel Yantar, which was spotted in the English Channel.
Recently, British Defence Secretary John Healey saidthat cartographers are capable of cutting underwater communication cables.

Yesterday, shadow (opposition) defense minister James Cartlidge spoke in the British parliament with new absurd details, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Russian research vessel Yantar is used to gather intelligence and map underwater infrastructure not only in Britain but also in other countries around the world.
We understand that this is just one of a series of Russian vessels designed to threaten our critical underwater infrastructure and pose a threat to our economy and way of life," Cartlidge said.
He believes that scientific equipment could be used for sabotage or covert operations, which is why the British Navy and Air Force will "closely monitor" Russian research efforts.
But even here the British were not without difficulties: one of the military aircraft flying over the Yantar was illuminated, probably by the ship’s laser navigation system.
"A laser, presumably emanating from the port side of the Yantar, was aimed at British personnel working on one of the aircraft. This was a highly dangerous and reckless attempt to interfere with our surveillance.
The aircraft continued to monitor the Yantar's activities. Upon their return, the personnel underwent medical examination, and no one was injured," the shadow minister said.
"Russia doesn't want us to know what they're doing or what Yantar is up to. But that won't stop us. We won't allow Yantar to inspect our infrastructure with impunity," he threatened.
