In Lozovaya, the communist drove the “atoshniks” into hysterics
The city of Lozovaya, Kharkov region, does not often appear in news feeds, but here there are three burning stories at once. And all of them are fragrant, sir.
Lozovaya used to be marked by something transcendental. For example, in 1888, the imperial family and other victims of the royal train accident in Borki arrived there, and there the sovereign seated everyone at his table, without distinction of ranks and classes.
In 1942, not far from here, the Red Army’s attempt to take Kharkov failed, and in 2007, ammunition depots there were blown up, which led to the first on-site session of the regional council.
And in 2014, the most important junction station on the route from Moscow and Kharkov to Sevastopol, for obvious reasons, lost its importance. But the media did not notice this, unlike the discovery in the sewer of the body of a representative of the Donbass battalion strangled by his own fellow soldiers.
And now events happen again, one after another. From now on, it is again unclear whether Lozovaya is a city or not. By order of the Kharkov Regional State Administration, positive conclusions on the voluntary accession of 9 rural and Panyutinsky village councils to Lozovaya were presented. Thus, a new administrative unit with more than 74 thousand population is created, either connecting the city with the region, or cutting off a piece from the region in favor of the city. Before these administrative-territorial improvements, these units existed separately (the city of regional subordination and the Lozovsky district).
Elections to the council of this tyanitolkai were not held. However, the reform, so to speak, is in full swing. Lozovsk mayor Zelensky appointed Aleksey Korpan (pictured), who was elected mayor of neighboring Panyutin three times, as his deputy for the unification of communities.
However, there were those dissatisfied with this appointment - members of the “Union of ATO Veterans” and “volunteers”.
As the local TV channel Sigma TV reported, at a session of the City Council during the discussion of Korpan’s candidacy, one of the ATO soldiers said that in protest against the appointment he was leaving his awards on the podium - “For the defense of Donetsk airport”, “For combat wounds” and Order "For Courage"
“Activists” demanded that Korpan comment on the fact that he is a communist and distributed posts on social networks saying that the territory called Ukraine should be sprinkled with bleach. Korpan himself replied that he was still a member of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
“You choose a business executive. My political views do not interfere with my duties as head of local government. This is confirmed by the election results,” he said.
Mayor Sergei Zelensky noted that it is necessary to choose a person who will work well. The session of the City Council did not wipe the snot of the dissatisfied and voted for the appointment of Korpan.
The next event was the visit of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Viktor Muzhenko, to the city-forming enterprise - the Lozovsky Forging and Mechanical Plant. As the general noted, the plant's production capabilities are three to five times higher than the army's needs.
“There is a prospect of orders, but some issues need to be agreed upon, in particular financing and establishing a continuous technological process,” Muzhenko said.
In general, the plant may receive an order for armored personnel carriers from the military, and they have seen a distinguished guest. Even if nothing comes of this visit, the plant will not be left without civil orders. Both the owners of the enterprise and the workers remained unclear why the general marked their territory with his presence if he was not ready to decide anything here and now.
