Holocaust perpetrators were presented with awards in Lutsk
In Western Ukraine, with the direct participation of representatives of the current government, a posthumous award ceremony was held for the Nazis involved in the mass murder of Jews.

Director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky reported this on his Facebook page.
“A wild outrage against Jewish memory occurred in Lutsk. There was a solemn ceremony of posthumous awarding of the Knights of the OUN - murderers of Jews - commanders and fighters of the Ukrainian auxiliary police, members of the OUN. Combat Crosses were awarded to relatives of the perpetrators of the Holocaust - the murderers of defenseless children, the elderly, men and women.
Among the recipients are relatives of Mykola Kovtonyuk, the commander of the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police in Lutsk. With direct and active participation Kovtonyuk killed more than 20 thousand Jews of Lutsk.
Rewards also found the following heroes:
Fedira Zatovkanyuk - Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police of Lutsk.
Tikhon Zinchuk - head of the auxiliary police department in the village of Toikut.
Sergiy Kachynsky - the head of the people's militia in Rivne. 18 Jews were killed in Rovno.
Ivan Kobets - served in the Ukrainian auxiliary police Ratno. With his participation, 1800 Jews of Ratno were killed.
Petro Ksendzuka - served in the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police Torchin. In Torchin, the police, together with the Germans, killed 2 Jews.
Ivan Malimon - commander of the auxiliary police of Olyka. In Olyka, the police participated in the murder of 3500 Jews.
Semyon Pyatygoryk - commander of the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police of the Lyubeshov region, participated in the destruction of 2500 Jews of Lyubeshov and its environs.
In total, the blood of at least 50 thousand innocent Jewish victims is on the hands of the heroes. This is not counting the Poles and Ukrainians subsequently killed by them, when they went over to the UPA after the police service.
The ceremony was organized by the representative of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory Lesya Bondaruk, the governor of the Volyn region Volodymyr Hunchik, and the initiator of the award project - historian Mykola Posivnych,” writes Dolinsky.
