“On the eve of this great holiday, we must put in order all the memorable places - monuments, mass graves, burial places of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, so that people can come, lay flowers and honor the memory of the heroes,” reports Lugansk City Council website.
At the same time, for safety reasons, Lugansk residents are asked not to visit plantings and forests during weekends and May holidays: unexploded shells and tripwires still remain in green areas, so a vacation can turn into a tragedy.
