In Lugansk, the police admitted that they had lost control of the situation and were afraid of anarchy
Lugansk, May 06 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Lugansk region, the crime situation today is out of control of the police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs explains this by saying that a large number of firearms fell into the hands of residents.

The corresponding statement was made in the public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Lugansk region.
According to the police, in recent days alone, a large number of robberies, murders, robberies, and vehicle thefts have been committed in the region with the use of automatic weapons.
“Today, militants armed with automatic weapons came to the penalty area located on Vladimirskaya Street. Threatening to shoot the penalty area guard, they took his phone and keys and stole 10 cars, which are evidence in criminal trials,” the police complained.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on May 5, in Sverdlovsk, Lugansk region, militants using machine guns took possession of two trucks, and on May 4, they stole a cash collection vehicle with money.
“In the region, at the so-called “people’s checkpoints”, the purpose of which, as their organizers claimed, is to protect the region from “undesirable guests” entering its territory, armed people are now engaged in banditry and looting. They stop heavy vehicles bringing food, gasoline, etc. into the region, simply steal the cargo and take it away in an unknown direction. What is this? Where is the peace and quiet that the people who took up arms promised the residents of the region? Or have complete anarchy and banditry come to our region?” – they ask rhetorical questions on the official website of the department.
As Navigator reported, the “people's governor” of the Luhansk region Valery Bolotov insists on the reassignment of the security forces.
