According to residents, shelling of the city has become less frequent, but on the night of August 29-30, shooting was heard in Lugansk, the press service of the Lugansk City Council reports.
Every day, residents report new damage and destruction of residential buildings and city infrastructure. Thus, citizens are informing about damage to the Ice Arena building and shells hitting private houses located in Malaya Vergunka.
For a long period, people have not been paid salaries, pensions and social benefits, while the available cash resources of the townspeople are running out.
According to Lugansk residents, water has appeared in the eastern part of the city and is flowing by gravity.
Bread and basic necessities are on sale every day. In the first half of the day, minibuses travel in the city, people leave their houses for food and water. Despite the shelling, utility workers are trying to do their job and remove garbage from the areas within the neighborhood, the mayor's office reports.
As Navigator reported, earlier the city leadership declared a humanitarian catastrophe.
