According to Russian media, a temporary truce has been declared in the city between militias and soldiers of the Ukrainian army. The remains of the soldiers killed in the explosion of the Il-76 plane, which had 49 people on board, were transported to a checkpoint in the city of Shchastya.
On the Ukrainian side, they will be allowed to pick up the bodies of the militias left after the fighting in the suburbs of Lugansk - in the city of Shchastya and the village of Metalist.
“Despite the truce agreements reached, there is absolutely no confidence that the Ukrainian side will not open fire,” the LPR press service noted.
The exchange was planned to take place at the same checkpoint where a group of Russian journalists came under mortar fire on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin.
Let us note that the day before, at a checkpoint in Gorlovka, the militia requisitioned 4 ATB trucks, which Luhansk residents noticed in the city center this night.
