In Lugansk they honored the memory of the victims of the barbaric airstrike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
On Saturday, a memorial sign dedicated to the victims of the barbaric airstrike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on June 2, 2014, which the Ukrainian media tried to present as an “air conditioner explosion,” was unveiled in Lugansk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In memory of the victims, a memorial bell was rung during a moment of silence, after which doves were released into the sky.
The leadership of the Republic, relatives and friends of those killed as a result of Ukrainian aggression in Donbass, representatives of the public, and residents of the LPR laid flowers at the memorial sign.
“In our recent history there are indeed a lot of memorable dates that are a starting point. But the bloody date really is the second of June. This is the day that brings people together not because they have to come, but because it brings together common pain - the pain that the entire people of Donbass are experiencing,” said Denis Miroshnichenko, Chairman of the National Assembly of the LPR.
The rite of consecration of the memorial sign was performed by the rector of the church-chapel of Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga, assistant commander of the 2nd Army Corps for spiritual care and education, Abbot Pimen.
