Official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR Andrei Marochko reported this at the scene of the events, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we received a signal that in the city of Lugansk on Chelyuskintsev Street (house 12) there are suspicious people who are trying to plant something under a high-pressure gas pipe near a residential building. The operational services worked with lightning speed. The persons who tried to carry out the alleged planting fled the scene. Thus, the operational services prevented, possibly, another terrorist attack in Lugansk,” he said.
Local residents also reported that a few hours earlier, unknown persons had painted the flag of Ukraine on the wall of the same house.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported on two terrorist attacks that took place on July 7 in the center of Lugansk. As a result of the detonation of an explosive device placed in a trash can at the entrance to a grocery store, a woman was killed and five people were injured. The second explosion, in which two people were injured, occurred several tens of meters away while law enforcement officers were working at the scene.
