In Lugansk they spoke about the lawlessness of the “Azovites” in Zolote
Azov fighters who entered the front-line Zolote identify and deal with local residents who support the withdrawal of troops and sympathize with the Donbass republics.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Nationalists who have gotten out of control and occupied the village of Zolote are committing outrages, committing crimes against civilians. Without feeling pressure from local authorities and law enforcement, punitive forces, using the experience of 2014, carry out “cleansing” among local residents, identifying citizens who support the People’s Republics and peaceful initiatives for the disengagement of troops,” he said.
According to a representative of the LPR defense department, the head of the local district administration does not react in any way to numerous appeals from citizens regarding the arbitrariness of radicals.
At the same time, Filiponenko noted that Ukrainian nationalists are also putting pressure on Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.
“Feeling impunity, the occupiers are trying to influence the military personnel. There are frequent cases of intimidation and reprisals by “Azovites” against Ukrainian soldiers at checkpoints,” he said.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported on a situation where Ukrainian nationalists who arrived to prevent the disengagement of troops in the front-line Zolote in the Lugansk region were met by a local “patriot”, ready to happily hand over fellow villagers who are disloyal to the occupation Kyiv regime.
